With eternity’s value in view,

This short little chorus by Al Smith would be worth whistling everyday as we get ready for the day. Consistently living with eternity’s values in view is something we all have to seek God’s enablement to do. It is not our natural perspective. It not our natural perspective to see every crisis as an opportunity for God to work, to see every person as an eternal soul or to see schedule changes as sent from God. Oh for a daily lift in our perspective to the eternal! That’s my prayer. I hope it’s your too.
