What God Always Blesses

IMG_0681 - Version 2

Recently the Lord has blessed our church with growth in our children’s ministries especially in our  Wednesday night Masterclub program. We have been running our 15 passenger van on Wednesdays and have been filling it. For some time now have been in need of additional transportation. We have had to use personal minivans to get all the kids in to church. What a blessing! Because of this great problem, we as a church began to pray that God would bless us with a church bus. We began to look and God led us to a person who would get us a retired school bus from a state auction. The church voted, gave and by faith moved ahead with purchasing a bus. I cannot tell you the joy it was to see this big yellow bus pull into our church parking lot. It was a such an answer to prayer and I believe a huge step in our church growing in our heart for souls.

No doubt this new ministry tool is a blessing from God and with that said, I believe that in our own lives as Christians and in our churches that there are attitudes and actions that God always blesses. I trust these will be  a blessing to you.

God Always Blesses Faith

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The believer who will choose to live by faith will undoubtedly experience God’s blessing. Living by faith is trusting God when it seems circumstantially impossible. God has always rewarded people and churches who will live by faith, not by what the experts say, the critics scream or the economy demands.

God Always Blesses Faithfulness

Matthew 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

When you live by faith that will result in a life of faithfulness to the Lord. Sometimes we think when we have more we will serve God faithfully. That fact is that God want you and I to serve Him faithfully with what we have. You see, If you will not serve God with $10 in your pocket, you will not serve him with $1,000. If you will not serve God with a 15 passenger van, you will not serve him with a bus. God wants us to be faithfully labor with what we have and we we do He will bless.

God Always Blesses a Heart for Souls

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

God blesses a heart for souls because it is His heart. He wants all men to be saved. He wants your neighbors, those bus kids to be saved. He blesses this kind of heart because it is an obedient heart that has decided to be a witness and make a difference for Christ. It is a sacrificial heart that has determined that no matter the affliction people must hear about Jesus. I believe God has blessed our church because of its heart for souls and Oh that God would help us continue to grow in it.

My desire is to have the blessing of the Lord on my life. I hope it is your desire too! May God bless you as you live by faith, serve faithfully and have a heart for souls.
